We've just finished up our first day helping Ohio's voters get to Early Vote Centers -- we're both exhausted and exhilarated. Reports from the field are coming in:
- Our van at Wilberforce College racked up 98 voters by 1:00 pm.
- We drove 108 homeless voters from shelters to the Columbus voting center.
- Our Bowling Green team did three "theatrical outbursts" on campus and moved 33 students to the polls in a few hours.
- And on and on and on ...
Needless to say, we're ironing out the bugs and solving problems, but for a first day of operations we're absolutely gleeful about how well our volunteers performed. They (you!) continue to be totally inspiring.
We are producing concrete votes. Where it counts. We'll continue posting updates throughout the week. In the meantime, please continue to spread the word about Golden Week (Sept. 30 - Oct. 6) and keep shuttling those voters to the polls!
